F18 uses the Multiboiler Realtime Stability system. Every group has its own boiler fed with pre-heated water, and the group heating element keeps the set temperature within ±0.2°C. The steam circuit does not affect the coffee circuit, so steaming milk does not change the brewing temperature.
All parameters, from presets to the service menu, are set on the touch screen in a few steps. Flowactive pre-infusion lets you give every button its own pre-infusion time.
The body stands on die-cast aluminium legs. Three colour schemes are available: matt black, white with black and blue with black.

How is F18 different from F18 SB?
F18 has a separate boiler for every group and a touch screen, so each group can run at a different temperature. F18 SB has one large boiler and SR 61 thermosiphon groups. It is simpler and cheaper and looks similar.
Can I set different temperatures on the groups?
Yes. Every group has its own boiler with a heating element, so temperature is set separately, for example one for a darker espresso roast and another for a light roast.
Does F18 have automatic milk frothing?
As an option. Autosteamer is a wand that froths or heats milk to the set temperature by itself.
