D8 is a platform of machines with one AISI 316L stainless steel boiler and a Hybrid hydraulic circuit. Group temperature is set between 90 and 98°C and steam boiler pressure at 1.0, 1.2 or 1.5 bar. You get stable temperature and extraction control with a single boiler build.
Sanremo presented D8 for the first time at HOST Milano in 2023. The platform was designed for high volume: it makes the barista’s work easier and keeps coffee quality steady all day.
D8 PRO adds a 1.5” colour display on every group, a separate temperature for each group, programmable pre-infusion and an insulated boiler with a weekly schedule. A front LED bar, Cool Touch wands and a hot water economiser come as standard.

How is D8 different from D8 PRO?
D8 has one temperature for all groups and a timer on each group. D8 PRO lets you set a separate temperature on each group and has colour displays, programmable pre-infusion, an insulated boiler and a weekly schedule. Cool Touch wands, LED bar and water economiser are standard on PRO.
Does D8 have separate boilers for the groups?
No. D8 has one boiler and a Hybrid circuit that allows group temperature control. A separate boiler for every group is found in F18, Café Racer and Opera 2.0.
Does D8 work with a grinder?
Yes, through the optional Sanremo Link. The machine, connected to the grinder by cable, corrects the grind in real time. It works with many grinders with electronic or manual adjustment.
